WebEx, the popular web-based meeting software has a new version for iPhone.

The WebEx iPhone app is free and offers pretty much all the same features you would expect from the web-based version. Meeting attendees can simply access the WebEx via an iPhone join link in the meeting invitation.

Once you’re in, you can view content, which includes documents, applications, and screen shares with annotations, from any computer. You can also see who has joined the meeting, participate in individual or group chat, and adjust audio, among other features.

Songbird is a great a jukebox app based on the Mozilla codes. The 779Media group jumps out of the gate with a remote-control application for iPhones and iPod touch devices that, while simple in functionality, does give you basic play/pause/back/forward control from anywhere your home wireless network reaches.

After installing the Songbird add-on for Windows, Mac, or Ubuntu 8.10 and the app on your device, you simply launch the app, hit the “info” button to choose your computer, then control your tunes.  Songbird Remote is free for iPhone and iPod Touch with 2.0 software.

Vlingo , the application that allows you to control the main features on the device by using your voice has been launched for iPhone. Vlingo walks you through setting up the voice recognition software so that one of your convenience keys (left or right) can provide access to Vlingo. Once that is done, holding down that key allows you to issue voice commands to your iPhone to perform common tasks like emailing, text messaging, making calls, and searching the Web.
